Project Examples

Below is a selection of work from the past few years. The projects vary quite a bit - different briefs, different constraints and different directions. Some were very practical; others took a bit more time and some back‑and‑forth to get right. That's the nature of these things.

What connects them is the approach: clear, thoughtful design that reflects the clients  brand and what they need to communicate.  There is a mix of branding, brochures, presentations, and other visual pieces, which should give a good sense of how I work across different formats and industries.

Together, these examples show how I turn ideas into visuals - with the aim of creating work that feels considered, coherent, and genuinely useful to the people it’s for.

Example 1: Aura Hair & Beauty Studio

My clients, Cos and Androulla Eleftheriou, approached me regarding their new venture: the launch of a luxury hair and beauty studio in Enfield. They expressed the need for a brand identity that would reflect their commitment to delivering a luxury service defined by sophistication, exclusivity, and high‑end quality.

The initial stage of the project focused on developing an appropriate logo. The final design, shown above, was selected as it aligned seamlessly with the brand’s vision. Once this was agreed,  the next task was to design the shop fascia, to ensure the visual identity carried through to the studio’s exterior presence. The shop has three sides of different dimensions.

This was the initial design...

...and this was the finished product.

Now they required various promotional materials such as flyers, posters and pricelists, that needed to be professionally printed.

And finally, the project needed a website. It had to show potential clients that this was a classy, professional salon, while also reflecting its luxury feel and focus on high‑quality service and experience.

I put together a short intro video for the homepage to bring the branding to life and draw people in. It’s been doing its job - the site is getting plenty of enquiries now.

Example 2: Botanical Place

Botanical Place is a major development in West Byfleet, created by Retirement Villages. Forty Group supported the project throughout the build, ultimately taking the lead on letting the 11 new commercial units. Retirement Villages work to strict brand guidelines, so anything presented to the public has to meet their standards.

The brochure I designed for this project followed their brand requirements closely and was approved by their marketing team on the first submission. It’s a good example of my ability to adapt to specific criteria and produce work that fits seamlessly within an established brand.

Example 3: Car Posters

A long‑time client of 25 years, Steven Angeli, asked me to create a wall‑hanging poster featuring some of the cars he’s owned over the years. He wanted them placed in more appealing settings, as the original photos were taken indoors or in locations that didn’t do the cars justice.

I cut each car out from its original background and sourced suitable environments from Adobe Stock. In this kind of work, perspective and lighting are everything - if they’re not right, there’s no chance of making the cars look like they genuinely belong in the scene.

Here are the original pictures...
